Applications: Renewable energy is a wonderful asset in today's society, which unfortunately can be guilty of over-consumption and waste. It is an innovative method to produce energy without burning fossil fuels whose emissions pollute the environment. It is energy supplied by a resource that naturally replenishes itself within a human time scale. There are different types of renewable energy, including plants, wind, rain, sun, tides and more. But when it comes to today's advanced use of renewable energy for the home or office, solar energy, geothermal energy, wind energy and hydroelectricity are the four most common sources. Wind force

Our atmosphere swirls and flutters vigorously above us without fail, so it's no surprise that we have shown interest in learning how to use that energy for ourselves! Wind energy is extraordinary because it carries an enormous amount of power, power that can be used to power our homes and offices. The instrument used to use the wind is called a wind turbine. Wind turbines are usually white and stand tall with large defined blades. They generate power while their fast blades are turning in the wind. The rotating blades send power to a generator, which then produces electricity for a house.

Hydropower

Hydropower works in a similar way to wind energy, minus the wind. Instead, it uses the power of moving water to produce and utilize energy. To use hydroelectric energy, you must have access to a flowing water source. Ideally this would be a dam or river, but it can also occur in other forms. Geothermal energy

Although an unusual source of renewable energy, geothermal energy can still be used and used to produce energy for the home. This process is easily reversed for cooling purposes.

These units use the energy of the sun to heat water in a storage tank, allowing the unit to supply heated water on request. In addition, sunroof panels are a common asset for renewable energy for homeowners. When exposed to sunlight, solar panels use the photovoltaic effect (solar cells that convert sunlight into energy) to produce electricity for a home. A few years ago it was a larger initial investment that has earned itself back over time, but nowadays the price for solar panels has fallen considerably, so everyone can afford it!
